Geography
The Ollukkara Block Panchayat, covering an area of 315.72 square kilometers, is situated in the Thrissur Taluk of Thrissur district. It comprises the Grama Panchayats of Madakkathara, Nadathara, Pananchery, and Puthur. The Ollukkara Block came into existence on October 2, 1956.

Located near Mannuthy, this area primarily falls under the midland (*Edanad*) terrain. As it lies in the midland zone, the landscape is characterized by an intermingling of small hills and plains.
